Avebury’s restoration and the Stukeley Line: Update

In an earlier feature we presented some of the pros and cons for the re-erection of the fallen/buried stones at Avebury. Now, Mike Pitts (archaeologist and editor of the British Archaeology magazine), is planning to revive a project at Avebury to re-erect one of the megaliths in the main stone circle.
