Enough of the endless theorising by academics, archaeologists, amateurs and barnpots. Today the man that built a massive Stonehenge-like structure in Ireland will have to tell a judge exactly what it’s for!

Legal Note: it is possible that if the reason it was built doesn’t turn out to be persuasive the judge may order it to be demolished as it was built without planning permission. We understand English Heritage’s legal department are watching this case with some concern as not only does Stonehenge have no planning permission but also they aren’t quite sure why it was built at all.
