Government endorses Jedward as good purveyors of heritage outreach to youngsters
John Penrose, Minister for Culture, has reviewed Jedward’s “Tourist Guides to some of the UK’s famous World Heritage Sites” and concluded: “it’s really rather good”.
Hurrah! (As Mick Aston might not have said…)

Scouts earn “Heritage Badges” through metal detecting! Aaaargh!
But it’s all fine, they were taking part in a pukka archaeological survey
(So no question of “I claim first dib, dib, dibs” then…..)

The first crop circles have arrived in Wiltshire!
In accordance with recent tradition they’re actually pretty poor. In fact the one near Stonehenge (see this picture) looks like it was designed by a committee with attention deficit problems. Talking of which, two guest spokesmen for Wiltshire Council (Jedward) were heard to say “let’s get the Olympic Torch to visit it, the Government love a wacky approach”. (The Council is considering the matter and is planning to respond when it’s too late.)
