It has to be said that it has taken many years of hard work by many good people to finally get National Trust to begrudgingly admit they were wrong by pretending to believe the smokescreen of lies that trail hunting actually is.
At some time in the future, hopefully National Trust will also bow to public opinion (and most of the archaeologists who aren’t afraid of English Heritage) and admit that the Stonehenge tunnel is NOT a good thing for the WIDER Stonehenge landscape.
A good example of just ONE of the smokescreen of lies that relates to the tunnel…is English Heritage’s glib and untrue claim that “ Blick Mead will not be damaged ”.

Indeed.
All that is said about where is that it was in a paddock. Might it be reasonable to think people with a paddock might be better-heeled in pocket and brain than some, and might well have been open to proper advice from officialdom, if offered?
