See here “The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery have teamed up with students of Pinc College, a specialist college for creative education, for an innovative education project about the Staffordshire Hoard. The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery were previously awarded a £60,000 Arts Council England (ACE) National Lottery Grant for the ‘Staffordshire Hoard Reimagined’ proposal.”
And here … “New £7.1m Staffordshire History Centre given the go-ahead”
So it seems there’s no lack of interest – or money – in Staffordshire to study and display Staffordshire’s history, including the Staffordshire Hoard. So how come a few thousand can’t be spent on digging up the rest of the hoard as we’ve been asking many many times for many many years? See here.
